The Air Armament Center (AAC) Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) Program Office, AAC/YU, and the Direct Attack Munition Seeker (DAMASK) program office in China Lake are currently planning additional program round support efforts for the in-house technology demonstration of a seeker. They are planning to integrate this seeker onto a Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) to demonstrate the seeker technology. The JDAM contracting office intends to contract for the integration of the seeker with the JDAM system and technical support to McDonnell Douglas Aerospace (MDA), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co. The United States Government does not own a reprocurement data package for the JDAM, and would be unable to give anyone the necessary technical data to accomplish the integration of the seeker. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
