The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command is conducting a Market Survey for a show of interest in reproducing all documents related to the entire contractual effort. The TACOM Command provides this service to any interested party, however in an effort to go paperless we would like to completely turn this over to other image reproducing companies capable of handling this service. Interested parties [referred to as contractors or bidders] would find the information posted on the Web, the instructions provided will also show image reproducing companies capable of providing [paper] hard copy. The contractors take full responsibility for going to the image reproducing company, obtaining a copy and paying direct for the service. Companies interested in providing the service should have this type of equipment available; desktop computer and printer, Internet access, TACOM's web site, and adobe software to bring up documents in acrobat reader [PDF files]. The various types of documents that will require hard copy are as follows: solicitations, amendments relating to the solicitations, modifications, attachments [i.e. scanned documents spreadsheets, etc.]. and contract awards plus any attachments. Any specialty Technical Data Packages [TDP, on CD format] not viewable on TACOM's webpage will be provided through the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command, free of charge upon request. Any firms interested in responding to this Market Survey will take full responsibility for any and all services provided to the contractors. When responding provide information on (a) Name of Business;(b) Point of Contact; (c) method of payment; (d)hours of business;(e) turn around time for service to contractor. NOTE: All material is dated, so keep in mind that your company will be listed on the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command Webpage for companies to contact your business for possible assistance; (f) any information you think might be necessary. The Government in no way endorses any firm nor bears responsibility for any problems, or gets involved with any business transactions that may incur between said contractor and the image reproducing companies used. A written agreement may be required between the Government and the imaging reproducing companies. Keep in mind that no solicitation will be issued. This Market Survey is only seeking interested firms that can provide assistance to interested contractors.
