Non, (703) 695-6225 ext 2529, Contracting Officer Barbara Labriola This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) number M00027-99-Q-0008 and is a combined synopsis/solicitation, for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps has a requirement for one(1) Hirsbrunner 4/4 CC Tuba Model #HB21 and one (1) Walter Nirschl "York Copy" 6/4 CC Tuba Model #WN18, both with hard cases to be delivered to U.S. Marine Corps Band Supply, 8th and I Streets, S.E., Washington, D.C. 20390. It is the Government's intent to make one award for this acquisition. The following FAR provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, plus any subsequent addenda.FAR 52.212-2,Evaluation Commercial Items. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is found to be the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. In the evaluation, the band will only accept delivery of each instrument once it has been played and evaluated by the individual musician for which it is being ordered. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provisions with their quote. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items. In addition, the following sub-paragraphs under paragraph (b) are hereby checked (11),(12),(13),(14),(15),(16) and (22), regarding which, if any, additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to this acquisition. Vendors must have a Valid Trading Partner registration in the Central Contract Registration system. Furnish DUNS number, Taxpayer ID number (TIN), and CAGE Code with quote.
