58 -- PORTABLE AIRNET SYSTEM SOL DEA-99-R-0042 POC Yolanda Jordan, Purchasing Agent, (202) 307-7805 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DEA-99-R-0042 and the synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ); award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the FAR Circular 97-11. DEA intends to award a firm-fixed priced contract. This is an unrestricted procurement, however quoters should still identify their business size. The business size is 1500. The solicitation line items are as follows: Line Item 0001: two 2-channel portable airnet32 systems model APM-2282; Line item 0002: shipping and handling. The contractor must provide quotes for the items detailed above. Deliveries shall be accomplished between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm local time exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal Holidays. Delivery time is 45 days after contract award. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at, Drug Enforcement Administration, 8198 Terminal Road, Lorton, VA, 22079 Attn: Jose Iturbe/STIT. The provision at 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial items" is applicable to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, "Evaluation -- Commercial items" is applicable to this acquisition. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this RFQ to the responsible quoter submitting the lowest price. Quoters shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 5.212-3, "Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items", with its written quotation. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, "Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition. The Clause at FAR 52.212-5, "Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items" apply to this acquisition.
