Contractor shall provide semi annual preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on AMC material handling equipment (MHE) and related aerospace ground equipment (AGE)as listed at Cairo International Airport Cairo, Egypt. 1. Contractor Furnished Items & Services: Except for those items or services specifically stated to be Government furnished, the contractor shall furnish everything required to perform this Statement of Work. 2. Government Furnished Items & Services: The Government shall provide the following items or services while at Cairo International Airport: a. All required electrical hookups and power b. Phone service for official calls related to maintenance of equipment c. Local transportation to/from Cairo International Airport to local hotel d. Government will perform/process country clearance request message IAW foreign clearance guide. 3. Specific Tasks/Semi-Annual Preventative Maintenance: Contractor shall perform all inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, lubrication and testing on 25K, 10K MHE and related equipment listed in this statement of work on a semi annual basis (normally every 1,000 hours of MHE operation) and in accordance with the required technical orders to include TO 36M2-2-200-2 and TO36M2-3-33-2. Any deficiencies found shall be corrected. The scheduled, periodic, inspections should include the following: a. Operational walk around, fluid level, and safety checks b. Thrust screws for differential, lift system, and drive shaft c. Replace filters, drive belt, brake fluid d. Checks condition of forks, control levers and lubricate uprights e. Service fuel systems, electrical systems, and transmission f.Hydraulic system, pneumatic system, transmission, wheel bearings, Brakes, brake lines and drums g.Service chassis, axles, drive shafts, wheels & tires, steering Systems, power pack/engine, cooling systems, pre-heater system, Coolant system, linkage, deck/platform, cab, and electrical systems 4. Emergency Maintenance: Contractor shall perform emergency repairs on 25K and 10K Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and related support equipment which has caused a mission impact to the Governments ability to off/on load cargo and to provide ground handling services to US aircraft. Contractor shall be required to respond within 72 hours of request for emergency repairs. The Government will be responsible for all country clearance requests/notifications. Government representative at Cairo, Egypt may provide contractor a limited diagnostic of problem and potential cause of equipment breakdown to facilitate the contractors ability to order/obtain the correct supplies /equipment for emergency repair. Contractor shall be authorized military airlift when available. 5. Hours of Operation: Normal hours of operation are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday through Wednesday excluding weekends and American/Egyptian Holidays. Unless otherwise authorized by the Contracting Officer, additional costs for work on weekends and legal Holidays remain the sole responsibility of the contractor. 6.
