23 -- ORDNANCE VEHICLE WITH VAN BODY SOL N00421-99-Q-5613 POC Helen Harris, Contract Specialist, (301)342-1825 ext 208 The Public Works Transportation Department located at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD has a requirement to purchase an Ordnance Vehicle with Van body. The quantity is one each. The following specifications apply: Wheel Base: 254 -- 260 inches, b). Engine: Diesel, Minimum Horsepower of "190", c). Power Steering, Brakes, A/C, AM/FM, d). 4-speed automatic transmission with "PTO" gear, Exterior color: White, Maximum Gross Weight: 26,000 LBS., Spare tire and wheel with 12 ton jack and lug wrench. The ordnance van body shall meet the following specifications/construction: a) Inside length = 288" (24'), inside height = 108", inside width = 91", b) Overhead rear door, c) underframe option for forklift operations: 3" I-Beam X-Member, d) Roof = .032 aluminum, e) Bumper = ICC, 6" Floor extensions with dock bumpers, f) Front interior of box = " thick, 108" high, g) Interior sides of box = 3/8" thick, 108" high, h) Front corners -- .125" aluminum, i) Supreme mud flaps, j) Floors -- Hardwood minimum 1 3/8", k) additional equipment -- a Tool Box 48" X 18" X 18", and a Ordnance Placards. Award will be made to the offeror proposing a technically acceptable offer that meets the above specifications and proposing the lowest price to the Government. A firm fixed price purchase order is contemplated. Requested delivery schedule shall not exceed 90 days after award.
