anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract to repair the roof
on Building 6, Girls dormitory. The estimated cost is between
$50,000-$100,000. Quotes will be solicited for the proposed contract on
an unrestricted basis as to business type. Work will consist of but is
not limited to: 1) Remove the existing insulation and built-up roofing
(BUR) throughout the entire area of the roof. Remove and dispose
off-site all demolished materials. Inspect roof deck or structures that
show signs of water damage or deterioration. Roof deck repairs will be
paid based on pre-approved unit price. 2) Re-roof with single-ply
membrane system fully adhered (60ml). 3) Examine Parapets and coping to
determine if they are water tight. Repair and replace existing roof
gutters and leaders as required. Replace all flashing 4) Provide new
roofing system, complete with membrane, flashing, insulation, and
recover boards if required. 5) Include a minimum 15-year roofing
manufacturer's no-dollar limit warranty and a 2-year warranty by the
roofing contractor for water tightness of the roofing system. It is
intended and expected that the entire roofing system will remain
watertight for the number of years stated in the warranty with normal
maintenance. The contractor will be required to commence work within 10
calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed and complete within 60
calendar days. To facilitate timely issuance, requests for solicitation
