is for asphalt overlay of gravel to paved roadway intersections located
on the Department of Energy's Savannah River Site (SRS) near Aiken, SC.
Work includes gravel roadway preparation, prime and tack costs, binder
and finish surface asphalt overlay. Total tonnage of asphalt (both
binder and finish course) is approximately 1800 tons with 3700 gallons
for prime and tack coats. Contractor shall also be required to bring
crushed aggregate to work areas as necessary for roadway preparation.
Savannah River Site (SRS) is a restricted access Government facility
and all persons entering SRS must be U.S. citizens. Posted 08/20/99
