This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued will not be issued. F08602 00 Q5036-The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote. Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, materials, equipment and supervision. Including supplies and parts necessary to perform premium full maintenance of four uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) located in buildings 540, 541, and 543. Headquarters, United States Central Command (HQ USCENTCOM), MacDill, AFB FL. UPS equipment within the contract includes a model 3180 (3 modules), a model 100 (1 module), a model 50 (1 module) and a Liebert AP600-225 KVA UPS located in building 543. UPS manufactured by Exide Electronics, 3301 Spring Forest Rd, Raleigh NC 27604. Premium full maintenance shall include both preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance. Preventive maintenance shall consist of inspecting, cleaning, testing, lubricating, replacing and minor repair of defective components in accordance with manufacturers recommendations before system or system component failure occurs. Corrective maintenance shall consist of locating defective or failed components by troubleshooting, testing, repairing and replacing system components, repair of defective manufacture approved parts, and shall include operational running tests of repaired modules before reconnection of the module into the operations system. Both preventive and corrective maintenance includes testing of individual modules while operating under critical load condition and unloaded in _bypass_ condition. All testing shall conclude with transfer of critical load to the modules desired by the Government. This requirement is for full service preventive maintenance.
