The U.S. Military Academy is soliciting for Conservation of Historic Frames. The awardee shall provide all supervisory, direct and overhead personnel, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to coordinate, plan and accomplish all conservation of historic frames to include transportation charges. This includes surface consolidation and gilding, rebuilding surfaces where appropriate, new gold leaf applied, and recreating or filling in missing areas. Period of performance is tenatively scheduled to begin 29 September 1999 through 30 November 1999. Offerors shall schedule work to be completed all at once or frame by frame. A site visit will be held (date to be announced in the solicitation) to assist interested offerors in developing their proposed costs. The applicable SIC code and size standard is 7699/$5M.
