has a requirement for installation of fourteen (14) CO2 fire
protection systems at its National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions
Laboratory, 2565 Plymouth Road, Ann Arbor, MI. The systems shall be
installed in various engine test cells and dynamometer rooms at the
facility. Each system shall be a manually activated, local application,
high-pressure CO2 system which will be used to suppress and/or
extinguish small engine fires without discharging the primary fire
suppressant. The area to be protected shall be the engine only. A
3-month contract performance period is anticipated. Estimated price is
under $75,000. Past performance and price shall be the principal
evaluation factors. Requests for RFP PR-CI-99-14291 should be faxed to

unrestricted acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal
