WHITE SANDS MISSLE RANGE TECHNOLOGY EXPOSITION White Sands Missile Range will be hosting an ON-SITE Technology Expo on Thursday, October 21, 1999, This event will be promoted to over 7,000 Civilian and 1,000 Military Personnel (most of whom are Engineers, Technicians, or from other Technically Related Fields). WSMR is an Army operated range and is part of the Test and Evaluation Command (TECOM) which reports to the Army Material Command (AMC). It has been designed as a DoD Major Range and Test Facility which posses unique and critical capabilities needed by the Army, Navy, Air Force, NASA and other members of the testing community. The Principal Mission at WSMR is to operate and manage the facility, coordinate the test schedules of many testing programs, and provide technical support for tests.
