Fontano Contracting Officer (718) 553-3080 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Region, is currently reviewing and opening up their Qualified Vendor's List (QVL) for Weather Observation Services to interested contractors. Current Contractors will be sent a letter to update their previously submitted applications no later than August 23, 1999, These contractors are advised that they should contact Nadene Fontano at telephone No. 718-553-3080 if they do not receive correspondence from this office. A response is mandatory to remain on the QVL. All new contractors interested in receiving an application form should submit a request via fax to Nadene Fontano, Contracting Officer, at 718-995-5685 by COB August 23, 1999. Requests received after that time will not be accepted. Contractors will be evaluated on the following criteria: Past Performance, Management Plan and Financial Capability. FAA, Eastern Region, anticipates soliciting one project for Weather Observation Service at Morgantown, WV to be effective October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000 with four (4) one year option periods. Morgantown is an eight-hour facility. Offers will be accepted from only those individuals on the QVL. Placement of a company on a QVL does not guarantee a request for offer or award of a contract to a company.
