Rollins, 02412, (703) 602-0204, Ext. 42 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a contract to GNB Industrial Battery Company, Woodlake Corporate Park, 829 Parkview Blvd., Lombard, IL 60148-3249, for submarine battery wetdown and cycling services for GUPPY I MOD C, GUPPY I MOD E, TRIDENT, and SEAWOLF battery cells. The following estimated quantities apply: under the basic requirement services are required for ten (10) batteries including seven (7) GUPPY I batteries, two (2) TRIDENT batteries, and one (1) SEAWOLF battery with options for up to twenty-seven (27) additional batteries including twenty-one (21) GUPPY I batteries and six (6) TRIDENT batteries. The basic contract will cover FY00 with options for FY01 and FY 02. GNB Industrial Battery Company is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for submarine main storage batteries.
