This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of Part 13 of the Federal Acquisitions Regulations. The purpose of this purchase order is to develop a global resource manual addressing health care systems, family medicine programs in medical schools, and graduate training programs. Also, the manual shall include ways to develop a certification process for health professionals, and also develop an association of family doctors. The contractor shall be responsible for preparing the global resource manual for publication along with the help of a selected steering committee. The contractor is also responsible for the presentation of 250 copies of the published document to be distributed globally. The period of performance for this project is eighteen (18) months. The Frontier Education Center is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing required work and services. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is on file.
