The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform preventive and remedial maintenance of Government owned material handling equipment located at the Defense Distribution Depot San Diego, CA. Material handling equipment consists of gas, diesel and electric forklifts, 2000 pounds to 30000 pounds capacity, diesel straddle trucks and warehouse tractors. The Government will provide an indoor work area of 11000 square feet and an outdoor work area of 5000 square feet on the installation. The Government will also provide two (2) forklift service lifts (mohawk Model FL-25). Total number of units to be maintained is approximately 219. The Government intends to make contract award effective October 1, 1999.
