COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF AUGUST 16,1999 PSA#2410SP -- DISCUSSION OF FEDERAL ENERGY SOLUTIONS FOR THE 21ST CENTURY The
General Services Administration's Management Services Center (MSC) and
the Energy Center of Expertise are proud to announce a discussion of
Federal Energy Solutions for the 21st-Century. This meeting will be
held September 1 at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center in Kansas City, MO.
The two Centers, one from the Federal Supply Service (FSS) and the
other from the Public Buildings Service (PBS), have established a
partnership to address the energy needs of the Federal community. This
meeting is an opportunity for industry representatives to meet with
GSA personnel from both Centers. Speakers from PBS's energy programs,
FSS's Multiple Award Schedule program, and industry will present
perspectives on a joint approach to meet the Government's energy needs
in the 21st-Century. Participants will discuss how today's solutions
can be improved through the use of Federal Supply Schedules and the
Energy Center of Expertise. For more information, please visit the
