The Naval Undersea Warfare Center plans to award a sole source five year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract to Huntron Instruments, Inc. of Mill Creek, WA for an estimated maximum quantity of 750 Huntron ProTrack 1 Model 20 analog signature analysis test equipment with Scanner 1 and Carrying Case. The DoD currently utilizes the Huntron Tracker 5100DS Tester. Test routines developed with the 5100DS support the analysis and repair of approximately 4,500 circuit card assemblies. Huntron will soon stop production of the Tracker 5100DS. The Huntron ProTrack 1 Model 20 is the modern replacement for the Tracker 5100DS. Conformity to existing curriculum, test equipment compatibility with existing operational software, and potential impact on logistical and engineering requirements necessitate a single source action. Tester must be compatible with existing AN/USM-646(V)/658(V)/674(V) configurations and Module Test & repair Windows Suite (ver 2.1) software. This is a sole source acquisition authorized under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). It is the Government's intention to award this contract on a Sole Source basis to Huntron Instruments, Inc. See Note 22.
