Some sites will be prepared for subsequent seeding or planting by the Forest Service. Multiple contract awards will result from this solicitation. The work to be accomplished is in areas affected by the July 4 wind storm. Dead, down and severly damaged trees will be treated. Healthy live trees would only be treated for operations or worker safety. Desired date for starting work is approximately September 8, 1999. Completion date varies depending on bid item.
