The principle features of work shall consist of furnishing all labor and material in performing all operations in connection with the construction, demolition, alteration, and repair to HVAC ducts, bathroom exhaust ducts, attic and storage room ventilation and attic insulation in base family housing. All work shall be completed in strict accordance with the specifications of Project NKAK 99-4015 include, but are not limited to: 1) Demolition and replacement of existing HVAC ductwork, including supply/return grilles and insulation. This project does not include replacement of existing heat pumps; 2) Balancing and adjusting of HVAC ductwork; 3) Air leakage testing of replaced ductwork (randomly selected); 4) Installation of exhaust stacks and roof caps for bathroom exhaust fans; 5) Installation of additional attic insulation and; 6) Installation of attic and storage room ventilation grilles and exhaust vents. This is a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract. The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The performance period will be base year and two option year periods. This procurement is being issued as an 8a competitive acquisition. This acquisition is restricted to the State of Arkansas.
