V -- HOTEL SPACE AND HOTEL SERVICES FOR AGRICULTURE SUMMIT MEETING SOL CC-99-Q-0057 POC Thora Stanwood, Contract Specialist, 202-874-4716 SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires the facilities and services of a qualified hotel to provide guest rooms, meeting rooms and related services for the Agriculture Summit Meeting. The Meeting is to be held on a Thursday and Friday in January, February or March, 2000 in Kansas City or St. Louis, MO, or Omaha, NE. There will be approximately 300 attendees. The estimated maximum number of sleeping rooms per night is 200. It is intended to be a two-day meeting with continental breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch, and a general session each day. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and have a FEMA certification number; and 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA). HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation on or about August 20, 1999. The solicitationdocument will contain the details of the meeting, the instructions for submitting a proposal, and how the proposals will be evaluated.
