FISC San Diego is announcing its intent to issue an unrestricted procurement; all responsible sources may submit an offer. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13 and the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number / RFQ N00244-99-T-A995 applies. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The standard industrial code is 4922, and the business size standard is $5 million. The agency need is for compressed natural gas for PWC vehicles in San Diego. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract for five line items as follows: This contract will be for CNG for government vehicles in San Diego CA. The government will use approximately 85,000 therms of CNG per year. This contract will have a base year and four option years as follows: base -- 10/01/99 through 9/30/99; first option -- 10/1/00 through 9/30/01; second option -- 10/1/1/01 through 9/30/02; third option -- 10/1/02 through 9/30/03; fourth option -- 10/1/03 through 9/30/04.
