The helmets must be available in a minimum of three sizes, and shall provide protection from impacts and various ambient noise levels. Detailed specifications are included in the solicitation. The resulting contract will be an indefinite quantity type, with first article testing and approval required, and an option to extend the period of the contract for one additional year. The minimum quantity will be 100 each of the regular size and 200 each of the extra-large size. Delivery for the minimum quantity is 60 calendar days after award of contract.
