The VA Heartland Network 15, Contracting Office is issuing a "Sources Sought" for a qualified firm that can provide an ONLINE CLINICAL RESOURCE SERVICE for this Network. The VISN 15 Network consists of VA Medical Centers at the following locations, Wichita, KS, Topeka, KS, Leavenworth, KS, Kansas City,MO, Columbia, MO, St. Louis,MO (2 sites), Poplar Bluff, MO, and Marion, IL. The Resource Service must be able to provide the following services, at a minimum: Interactive clinic database inclusive of clinical textbooks comprised primarily of Brandon Hill list; 600 plus full text practice guidelines coming from multiple organizations and socities; 40 plus full text journals (including Mosby's yearbooks and the Clinics of North American by Saunders); full medline, aidsline, cancerlit and healthstart; 2500 plus patient education hand-outs: electronic drug database, CME Center with 300 plus categories with CME credit available. Resource Service must also provide summarized coverage of weekly journals as they are released. The intent is to immediately pursue the development of this initative through a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) and/or sole source in no interested parties can be identified.
