Work may include removal work, crack sealing, shallow and/or full depth patching, and slurry sealing of roads and parking lots. The SIC is 1611 and the size standard is $17.0 million. The government intends to award this action as a requirements contract with a base year (15 Sept. 1999 through 14 Sept. 2000) plus one option year (15 Sept. 2000 through 14 Sept. 2001) to follow the base year. The magnitude of this acquisition is between $100,000 and $250,000 when the base and option years are combined. A 20 percent bid bond is required. Requests for the solicitation must be in writing accompanied by a non-refundable certified check, cashiers check, or money order payable to the US Treasury in the amount of $8 per package.
