Solicitation will be issued by the Ochoco National Forest in Prineville, Oregon. Equipment shall have a boom mounted, power driven rotary head with capabilities of chopping or grinding wood fiber up to six inches. Equipment shall be track mounted and with attachment(s) shall not exert more than 6 pounds per square inch ground pressure. Overall width of equipment shall not exceed 10 feet and the effective reach of boom shall be a minimum of 12 feet from the outside edge of the machine. Estimated start work date is October 1, 1999 and contract time is 105 calendar days. This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
