E-MAIL: gartner@spawar.navy.mil, gartnern@spawar.navy.mil. Procurement of a 58 foot Type "A" Sandwich Radome for a Long-Range L Band Air Route Surveillance Radar (ARSR) Model 3. The Radome shall provide an environmental enclosure for the collocated L Band Beacon and Air Route Surveillance Radar (ARSR) antenna system and be mounted on the fixed ground ARSR-3 antenna tower. The Radome shall be entirely nonmetallic (except for fasteners), oblate spheroid or spherically shaped and be attached to the base of the ARSR-3 tower platform. The Radome shall provide an environmental enclosure for a collocated L band radar reflector and a top-mounted dual faced L band beacon phased array. The Radome shall be designed for winds of 125 mph with gust of 1.6 and capable of withstanding wind velocities of 150 mph. The specific Radome is required to ensure the same levels of compatibility, maintainability, configuration control, and interface reliability with the existing system. The Standard Industry Code is 3663, and the applicable size standard is 750 employees.
