STAND FOR C-130 According to photos and specifications listed 1.
General: The stands shall be designed for the Isochronal maintenance
process on the C-130 aircraft. The stands shall provide access to all
necessary maintenance areas around the entire aircraft and allow for
the operational clearance all flight control surfaces in the full range
of motion. The tail stand shall consist of two halves that can be
removed and installed to the tail of the aircraft. 2. Supporting
structure: Consisting of a hot dip galvanized tubes and nodes: minimum
sizes 42-mm dia., as well as minimum 60-mm dia., or equivalent. 3.
Admissible loads: Surface load: minimum 750 N/m2 Concentrated load:
minimum 1500N Platforms of large dimension shall be limited to
capacity, which has to be defined for the special load cases. 4.
Undercarrige: Castor wheels, minimum 280-mm dia., with Skydrol
resistant solid rubber tires, fixing spindles (devices) beside each
wheel. 5. Access: Stairs, 6660-860mm wide and a 45 to 55-degree
inclination with grading steps. 6. Railings: Minimum 1,0m high and
mid-railing. Tubes 34 to 42-mm dia., kickboards, and 100 mm high. 7.
Platform decking: The platform decking on all stands shall consist of
waterproof glued industrial plywood, minimum 20-mm thickness, placed on
steel purlins. Padding shall be on all platform edges touching the
aircraft. Required delivery time is on or before 180 calendar days
after date of award of contract. Coordinating delivery or additional
