The project involves all labor, material, equipment, tools, travel and performance of all operations to meet the requirements of installing an Electrical, Telephone and Communications infrastructure for the purpose of expanding or placing underground, the existing utilities through the creation of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract at Hanscom AFB MA in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. The principal items of work include but are not necessarily limited to: excavation/backfill, electric, telephone/communications conduit and manhole installation, bituminous paving, concrete construction, curbing repair and construction, water line repair, sanitary sewerage repair, storm drainage line repair, and miscellaneous landscaping. Work is issued on a delivery order basis for the life of the contract. The basic contract extends for one year with one option year. The guaranteed minimum for the life of the contract is $100,000.00, with a maximum total (for basic year and option year) of $10,000,000.00. Minimum delivery order is $2,500.00. Maximum delivery order expected to work on at one time is $600,000.00. Funds are not currently available for this requirement. Offerors are advised that the cost of any response to, or other cost incurred as a result of, this solicitation is at the offeror's own risk. Unless funds are made available for this requirement, no contract will be awarded. All contractors must be CCR registered. Sheldon, Director, Commander's Staff, has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during proposal development.
