two long stringer bridges with two new designed bridges. These bridges
are 55 ft. and 30 ft. in length and located within 200 feet of each
other. The bridge sites are located approx. 2 miles up Roaring River
and are accessed by the Roaring River Trail #045. The bridges must be
flown into the site, there is no road access. The project includes
removing the log stringer bridges, building bridge abutments, flying in
bridges and placing on site. From Boise, drive east on Hwy 21 approx.
10 miles to the junction with Middle Fork Boise River Road #268. Take
the Middle Fork Boise River Road #268 approx. 45 miles up river the
junction with Roaring River Road #255. Follow Roaring River Road #255
approx. 6 miles to the Roaring River Trailhead. Park at the trailhead
and walk or motorbike up the Roaring River Trail #045 approx. 2 miles
to the bridge sites. Road #268 and #255 are dirt roads and can be
rough. It takes approx. 2 1/2 hours to access the trailhead. Est. start
date is 10/1/99 with a completion by date of 9/15/2000. Est. price
range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This proposed procurement is
