The government intends to issue a sole source service contract to Honeywell, inc. for a maintenance and service contract to include a base year and 4 option years. The current Honeywell system currently uses Graphic Central Software and DDC customer program software installed and is proprietary to Honeywell, Inc. This software and equipment becomes the controls system which in turn collects, monitors, and reports on data (e.g. electrical peak demand, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) statistics, fire reporting, and Direct Digital Control information (DDC) collected through 5 communication gateways and 11 work stations PC_s). The existing EMCS system would not be compatible with vendors other than Honeywell_s R7044E and R7044D Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.
