Cemetery Administration is seeking quotations from firms for the
inscription of second interment data on the reverse side of existing
upright headstones (marble and granite) at select national and State
Veterans' Cemeteries, nationwide. Unless a site is specifically noted
otherwise in the solicitation's schedule, contracts awarded in response
to the solicitation will cover the period October 1, 1999 through
September 30, 2000 (base period), with two 1-year options to extend the
terms of the resulting contracts through September 30, 2002. Second
inscription services are being acquired for the following locations
(additional sites may be added to the solicitation as the final

set-aside for small business concerns. Standard Industrial
Classification (SIC) Code 8999 and a size standard of $5 million is
applicable. All responsible small business concerns may submit a
quotation. Requests for a hard copy of the solicitation must be in
writing to Mr. James C. Jackson, Contract Specialist, and accompanied
by a check or money order in the amount of Five Dollars ($5.00) payable
to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." No telephone requests will be
accepted. Hard copy solicitations will be issued via the ordinary mails
on or about August 20, 1999. The solicitation may also be obtained FREE
