Work includes but is not limited to demolition, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements, paving, landscaping and irrigation. Work also includes concrete foundations and slab-on-grade, wood joists and roof framing, roof membrane over roof insulation, sheet metal, masonry, metal stud partitions, insulation, exterior finish insulating systems, gypsum board walls and ceilings, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, custom cabinets and fixtures, carpentry, glass storefront system, painting, metal doors, wood doors, metal frames, door hardware, metal fabrications, toilet partitions and accessories, signage, lockers, loading dock equipment, fire protection and detection systems, security systems, electrical, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning complete and ready for use. Facility is design utilizing USPS standards for Small Standard Buildings. Prices for 2 alternates are requested in the solicitation on Page 1A. The estimated construction cost is $775,000 to $850,000. The performance period is 120 calendar days from receipt of Notice- to- Proceed. Note: Sixty (60) days of the 120 will be allowed for phase one (1). The solicitation will be available on or about August 03, 1999, and may be obtained by remitting a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of $100.00 per set.
