Provide all labor, equipment, supplies, transportation, and facilities to perform all work required to collect longleaf pine cones on Fort Benning, Georgia, transport the cones, process the seed from the cones, and store the seed. The purpose of the contract is to collect longleaf pine seed at no cost to the Government. The contractor will retain a percentage of the seed collected in return for collection, processing, and storage services. The seed returned to Fort Benning will be used to grow seedlings to be outplanted on the Fort Benning Military Reservation. The contractor which returns the highest percentage of seed to Ft. Benning will be awarded the contract. Performance period is 01 Sep 99 thru 31 Dec 99. Unrestricted. No cost contract. Written requests only. Solicitation will be issued on a preorder/prepaid basis for a fee of $21.00. Payment shall be made by money order or by check payable to the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Contractor shall annotate solicitation number on the face of the money order or check and provide a single money order or check per solicitation request. Solicitation shall be provided upon receipt of required fee. Fee is only refundable if solicitation is not issued.
