This project consists of construction of Whole Neighborhood Revitalization of 104 single family, duplex housing units in Gardner Hills. This project will upgrade housing to current standards and improve the whole neighborhood streetscape and supporting infrastructure. Renovation of the units includes new garages, new heating and air conditioning, new wiring and panels, plumbing, new kitchens and bathrooms, windows and roofs. Demolition involves lead paint and asbestos abatement. Some units are to become handicap accessible. Exterior work includes replacement of asphalt roads, new driveways, sidewalks, patios, playgrounds, trails, and landscaping. Utility work includes underground electrical distribution, cable and telephone, sewer main and lateral replacement and storm drainage improvements. SIC for this acquisition is 1521.
