The US Army CECOM seeks to procure, under a three-year Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, the Data Entry Display Device Terminal (DEDD), NSN: 5840-01-353-9918, which is part of the AN/TPQ-36(V), AN/TPQ-37(V), AN/TPQ-46/A, AN/VSN-10/A and AN/TPS-59 systems. A sole source negotiation is intended with Orbit Instrument Corportion, Hauppauge, LI, NY for Orbit Part No. 60260. This part number represents the only known item to meet all requirements for military applications in the cited systems. The Government does not posess complete and accurate data needed to fully describe the functions, performance and support data required to commercially procure the DEDDT. A quantity of 25 each is guaranteed in the first year of the contract. Range quantity prices from one to eighty in the first year and from one to fifty in the second and third years will be solicited. The estimated quanities for procurement are fifty in the first year and twenty-five in each of the second and third years. The maximum quantity for procurement over the three-year period is one hundred eighty. The contract is intended to support US Army and US Marine requirements.
