Unattended charging must have smart charge modules which detect open or shorted cells. If a defective cell is detected, the charger will not start charge cycle. Single switch setting to select battery type-No programming or special instruction set to acheive safe and complete recharge of battery. In no event will a battery be overcharged using the smart charging techniques.
