The Lassen National Forest intends to acquire the construction of a 4-inch concrete slab accessible fishing trail -- 5' wide by 200 feet long, with a 30'x30' concrete fishing area. Trail shall be constructed on 1 foot of compacted aggregate base subgrade. Canyon Dam Trail is located approximately 14 miles south of Chester, California. From Chester travel 2.7 miles west on State Highway 32. Turn left on Highway 89 and travel 11.3 miles to Canyon Dam Boat Launch. Trail begins at the boat launch area. A Site Visit has been scheduled for August 24, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. Participants will meet at the Canyon Dam Boat Launch. Prospective quoters shall notify the Forest Service prior to attending the site visit. Desired start date is October 1, 1999. Contract time is 60 Calendar Days. Solicitation to be released on, or about, August 20, 1999. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $75,000.
