Department of Interior, is soliciting proposals from construction firms
having the capability to perform the work described below. A negotiated
firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both
a technical and a price proposal. The work of this contract consists
of structural reinforcement of the Southeast Face scarp wall and
masonry preservation at Fort Point National Historic Site. Work also
includes the installation of foundation anchoring; removal of temporary
superior slope protective covering; excavation and select brick removal
for the installation of cross tie supports; installation of structural
and surfacing superior slope slabs and barbette tier slab and related
waterproofing and backfill; miscellaneous brickwork repointing and
replacement; miscellaneous stonework repointing; and repairs to
interior casement plaster and paint finishes. -- Location: Fort Point
National Historic Site, Marine Drive, Presidio, San Francisco,
California. -- Estimated price range, $1,000,000 to $2,500,000. -- Time
for completion, 450 calendar days. -- Offer response date is
