The estimated price range of the work is between $250,000 and $500,000. The principal components of the work include clearing, removal of water from foundations and pipe trench; earthwork for and construction of the following: (1) a reinforced concrete fishscreen structure with fish return pipeline, (2) unreinforced canal lining, (3) furnishing and placing riprap embankment, 24-inch riprap with bedding, and coarse gravel protection, (4) furnishing and placing gravel surfacing at the fishscreen structure and along the existing road along the existing canal, and (5) raising a section of existing road along the existing canal; site grading and vegetative erosion control; furnishing and erecting chain linkfence, replacing an existing gate, and relocating a section of existing fence; furnishing and installing embedded metalwork; and furnishing and installing electrical control system and installation of water level sensors.
