SD-D623 is seeking Information regarding the feasibility of procuring
a "Multi-Band" GBS and UHF SATCOM antenna system. These antennas are
expected to operate transmit and receive with up to eight RF signals in
the UHF SATCOM 240-318 MHz range and simultaneously receive only up to
four RF signals in either GBS range of 10.95-12.75 GHz or 20.2-20.7
GHz. Specific information on the requirements that must be met are
contained in SPAWAR-S-874 dtd 18 Aug 97 and SPAWAR-P-952 dtd 6 Apr 99.

Center San Diego heading. The information is found under announcement
number N66001-99-R-XXX1. Any offeror who can provide an antenna system
which meets the above characteristics should, at a minimum, submit the
following information: Information on any available technology that may
accommodate the integration of a GBS and UHF SATCOM antenna. An antenna
system description and performance data which addresses the desired
capabilities. The Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) unit cost for
quantities of 50 and 100 systems, the anticipated capabilities at the
submitted cost, estimated ROM rate of production and schedule for the
first production unit, test reports/supporting data (if available), and
the appropriate company points of contact. Because of the fluid nature
of this program, a quick turnaround of this request is desired so that
programmatic decisions concerning this potential, future procurement
opportunity can be worked into the FY00-FY06 budgetary plans.
Interested parties must indicate whether they are small business, small
disadvantaged, or 8(a). This is not an RFP, a promise to issue an RFP,
nor will the government pay for information received in response to
this synopsis. Acknowledgment or receipt will not be made nor will
