The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for renovation of the restroom on the first floor of the Annex Building at the Agency's Mid-Continent Ecology Division Laboratory, 6201 Congdon Boulevard, Duluth, MN. The restroom currently has one toilet room that includes one shower. The scope of the proposed contract involves renovation of the existing toilet room and adjacent storage closet and corridor to accommodate an additional toilet room. Work will include demolition, patching of existing affected surfaces (finishes), new walls, doors and frames, flooring and ceilings in addition to fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electric improvements. A 4-month contract performance period is anticipated. The estimated price range is under $75,000. There will be no charge for solicitation documents.
