The project shall comprise of the Design/Modernization of ten (10) elevators, consisting of eight (8) passenger traction elevators and two (2) passenger/service elevators. Maintenance services are to commence upon issuance of Notice to Proceed. Two one (1) year additional maintenance options are to be priced and evaluated. An option of the Design/Modernization for the two (2) truck elevators is to be priced and evaluated. Estimated Cost is $1,500,000.00 to $2,000,000.00. This procurement is open to both large and small business concerns. Large business concerns shall be required to provide maximum practicable opportunities for small business concerns, business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and women owned business concerns. The subcontracting target goals will be issuedat a later date. Solicitation issuance will be on or about 9/15/99. Award is subject to funding.
