Requirements Type Contract for HIV, HTLV and Hepatitis Blood Test Reagents for delivery to Fort Knox, Kentucky during the period 1 December 1999 through 30 November 2000 with two one-year option periods. Test kits shall be licensed by the FDA for use in blood donor center/processing operations in accordance with mandatory FDA-AABB infectious disease testing requirements. Estimated yearly quantities include: HIV-1/2 test kit for detection of HIV-1/2 antibody in human serum -- 18 kits; HTLV-1/HTLV-II test kit for detection of HTLV-1/HTLV-II antibody in human serum -- 18 kits; Anti-HCV 2nd or 3rd generation test for the detection of hepatitis C antibody in human serum -- 18 kits; Anti-HBC test for the qualitative determination of total antibody to hepatitis B virus core antigen in serum or plasma -- 36 kits; HBsAg test kit for detection of hepatitis B surface antigen in human serum -- 18 kits; HIV-1 Ag test kit for the detection of HIV-1 antigen in human serum -- 18 kits. Contractor shall furnish all consumable supplies, quality control material, laboratory equipment, equipment maintenance, technical assistance and training necessary to perform the diagnostic laboratory tests listed.
