This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II)The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation, number 117-0565. (III)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-08. (IV)The standard industrial code is 2911. The small business size standard is 1500 employees. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. (V)Item 1 -- unleaded fuel, 89 octane, 23,000 gallons. Item 2 -- federal excise tax on item 1, 23,000 gallons. Item 3 -- diesel fuel, #1 grade, 3000 gallons. Item 4 -- federal excise tax on item 3, 3,000 gallons. Item 5 -- Cummins motor oil, 15W40 SAE turbo blue, 6.85 gal/drum, 2 drums. Item 6 -- Petrolube hydraulic oil, ISO grade, 2.53 gal/drum, 2 drums. Item 7 -- Dextron III premium transmission fluid, 4.41 gal/drum, 3 drums. Item 8 -- Quaker State motor oil, 10W40 SAE, 4.71 gal/drum, 4 drums. (VI)N/A (VII)All items will be delivered on an "on-call" basis to the garage at the Federal Correctional Institution, Milan, Michigan. Deliveries will be within 48 hours of order placement(excluding weekends and federal holidays). Items 5-8 will be an even exchange for the drum charge (after initial delivery).
