and Wildlife Service, Region 2, seeks quotations for the construction
of a stream bypass. This project is located at the New Braunfels Golf
Course within the city of New Braunfels, Texas, in Comal County, Texas.
The work consists of but may not be limited to installing canal gates
on existing culverts, constructing a 48" diameter reinforced concrete
pipe (RCP) stream bypass, fabricate and install trashrack on inlet
structure, installing erosion protection at down stream end of culvert,
installing two 24" diameter canal gates on existing 24" diameter
culverts and clean culverts, reestablish golf course turf. The price
range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The SIC is 1623. This
project is a full and open competition with no set asides. It is
estimated that the solicitation will be available by 08/04/99. It is
estimated that the quotations will be due by 09/07/99, and that
evaluation and award will be completed by 09/14/99. Award will be made
to the contractor who provides the most advantages price in
consideration of price, and price related factors. Requests for the
