The minimum quantity is 80 each and the maximum quantity is 250. Applicable to UH-60 Turbine Engine. FOB Origin to Stockton, CA; New Cumberland, PA and Texarkana, TX. Initial delivery with First Article Testing will be 16 each by 558 days after award, with subsequent monthly deliveries of 11 each. First Article Test report is due 348 DACA. Intial delivery without First Article Testing will be 16 each by 360 days after contract award, with subsequent deliveries of 11 each. This procurement requires prequalification. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. Only One Source or Limited Number of Responsible Sources. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. Approved sources are: General Electric Co., Lynn, MA and Simmonds Precision Products, Vergennes, VT. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations IAW the instructions contained in Section L of the solicitation.
