A -- STRATEGIC ANALYSIS AND TECHNICAL PROGRAM SUPPORT FOR DARPA DYNAMIC DATABASE PROGRAM DUE 073199 POC Dr. Otto Kessler, DARPA/TTO Fax (703) 696-2203 WEB: http://www.darpa.mil, http://www.darpa.mil. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency intends to issue a fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to DiamondBack Systems, Inc. of Arlington, Virginia. The contractor is required to provide program support to DARPA's Dynamic Database (DDB) Program in reviewing, assessing, and recommending alternative long-range DDB technology development and transition strategies. The contractor will also assist in developing and overseeing the execution of program plans. The contractor is further required to assist the DDB PM in DARPA's Multisensor Tactical Data Visualization (MTV) Technology Integration Experiment. This assistance includes representing DDB in MTV design, integration, experimentation, and demonstration activities, as well as assessing component and system integration experiment results. The estimated value of this effort is $50,000 and the estimated duration is 4 months. DiamondBack Systems, Inc. is the only source known to the Government with the capabilities, in-depth experience, andpersonnel that can satisfy the requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
