The project work consists of dredging and disposing 900,000 cubic yards of unclassified material from Canal C-37 and 130,000 cubic yards of unclassified material from Canal c-36. Disposal is along each Canal except for 300,000 cubic yards from Canal C-37 which must be hauled to a disposal area 10 miles away. Levee modifications consist of degrading approximately 2,000 linear feet of levee and disposing approximately 30,000 cubic yards of degraded soil adjacent to the work area. Clearing and grubbing and road maintenance are also contract requirements. Equipment needed would include, but not limited to dredge(s), dragline(s), buldozer(s), backhjoe(s), dumptruck(s), and heavy construction equipment for earthwork.
