Services non-personal to provide preventive maintenance/repair of exercise and strength equipment in the James Gym, and the Fitness Center here at Scott AFB. A list of the equipment covered in the solicitation is attached, along with the detailed Statement of Work. This is a fiscal year 2000 requirement with the period of performance being from 1 Oct 99 -- 30 Sep 00. Issuance of this Solicitation does not bind the Government to award a Contract. An award will be made contingent on fiscal year 2000 funding. This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items was prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition circular (FAC) 97-06 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. It is the contractor responsibility to be familiar with all-applicable clauses and provisions. (iv) This acquisition will be 100% Small Businessset aside.
